Sugarcane

The Sugarcane Crop Replacement Endorsement (CRE) has been expanded to four Florida counties for the 2019 crop year in accordance with Section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act (Act). The Act states, “Private Sector individuals may submit: (1) crop insurance policies, (2) provisions of policies, or (3) rates of premiums.” On February 13, 2018, the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors approved expansion of the CRE to Glades, Hendry, Palm Beach, and Martin counties in Florida.

As of April 16, 2018 the following information is now available on the FTP site:

• 2016 Actuarial Data Master for the 6/30 Filing Date, YTD, and Daily Files.
• 2017 Actuarial Data Master for the 6/30, 9/30, 11/30 Filing Date, YTD, and Daily Files.
• 2018 Actuarial Data Master for the 4/30, 8/31 Filing Date, YTD, and Daily Files.

On February 15, 2017, the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors (Board) approved policy changes, submitted by private submitters, to the Sugarcane Actual Production History (APH) plan of insurance for the 2018 crop year in accordance with Section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act (Act).
