Background

Beginning in February 2022, the Risk Management Agency (RMA) allowed written agreements for a new relay cropping practice for soybeans seeded into a small grain crop through Manager’s Bulletin MGR-22-002 and, subsequently, through MGR-22-009 for the 2023 crop year. This MGR replaces MGR-22-009 beginning with the 2024 crop year.

As of October 16, 2023 the following information is now available on the FTP site:

• 2022 Actuarial Data Master for the 2/28 Filing Date, YTD, and Daily Files.
• 2024 Actuarial Data Master for the 6/30 Filing Date, YTD, and Daily Files.

For the Common Crop Insurance Policy, the Risk Management Agency (RMA) approved 2024 CY projected prices and price volatility factors for insurance offers with a projected price discovery period of September 15, 2023, through October 14, 2023.
