Downed Rice Endorsement Changes Effective for the 2025 and Succeeding Crop Years
BACKGROUND:
The Risk Management Agency (RMA) revised the Downed Rice Endorsement for the 2025 and succeeding crop years. The changes include updating the formatting for consistency with the Crop Provisions and other plain language and non-substantive editorial revisions.
ACTION:
The following documents will be available by close of business today, on the RMA website at www.rma.usda.gov:
- Downed Rice Endorsement (25-DR-0018A)
- Downed Rice Loss Adjustment Standards Handbook (FCIC-20018L)
- Downed Rice Crop Insurance Standards Handbook (FCIC-20018U)
Approved insurance providers must notify policyholders of these changes at least 30 days prior to the cancellation date, as required by the policy.
