RMA preformed a re-analysis of Hurricane Helene, and while several counties were identified to exceed the rainfall threshold, they were already triggered as adjacent during the initial review. No new triggers were identified.
RMA expects to receive the final International Best Track Archive for Climate Stewardship (IBTrACS) location and windspeed data in the spring of 2025 and, upon receipt, will complete a re-analysis of all tropical cyclones that impacted the United States during the 2024 season.
Attachments A and C provide a map of the RY 2024 county triggers for Francine and Helene, respectively. Attachments B and D provide a map of the four-day rainfall totals by county for Francine and Helene, respectively.
