Replant and Double Cropping Amendment

The Risk Management Agency (RMA) published a Final Rule in the Federal Register on June 27, 2017, which revised provisions regarding replanting and double cropping in the Common Crop Insurance Policy Basic Provisions.

A Replant and Double Cropping Amendment (18-CCIP-Replant and Double Crop) to the Common Crop Insurance Policy Basic Provisions incorporates these changes effective for the 2018 and succeeding crop years for all crops with a 2018 contract change date on or after June 30, 2017, and for the 2019 and succeeding crop years for all crops with a 2018 contract change date prior to June 30, 2017.

The Replant and Double Cropping Amendment (18-CCIP-Replant and Double Crop) will be available on the RMA website by the close of business today.

Interested producers should contact a crop insurance agent for further information. A list of agents can be found on the RMA website at www.rma.usda.gov/.
