2025 Appendix III - Standard Reinsurance Agreement and Livestock Price Reinsurance Agreement
Background
The 2025 Appendix III to the Standard Reinsurance Agreement and the Livestock Price Reinsurance Agreement (Appendix III) has been updated with approved modifications. Appendix III will be available tomorrow electronically via the Risk Management Agency (RMA) website at www.rma.usda.gov/Policy-and-Procedure/Appendix-III-M13-Handbook-Index under the Appendix III/M-13 directory.
Action
Modifications in the 2025 Appendix III include the following crop insurance program changes:
- Addition of new field for the P55 exhibit to provide a new field to track emphasis for an agent – specifically this is for the option to find agents servicing Whole Farm/Micro Farm policies.
- Added three new Fields to the P16 - Live Cattle Target Weight Quantity (52), Feeder Cattle Target Weight Quantity (53), & Corn Target Weight Quantity (54), and adjusted below Fields accordingly.
- Removed Output Field 30 from the P27 - Survey Status Code and removed Record Level Rules '6', '7', & '13' that mention 'SurveyStatusCode', and adjusted Field Numbers / Record Level Rules accordingly.
- Added three new fields to the P27 Land Record - AIP Exception Request Commodity Key (5), AIP Exception Request Legal Key (6), & Renewal Code (24). Plus, several rules have been updated.
