Fresh Market Bean Crop Provisions Changes Effective for the 2020 Crop Year

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) revised the Fresh Market Bean Crop Provisions to allow separate coverage levels by type (planting period) and to make other policy clarifications.
The changes are applicable for the 2020 crop year.

- Fresh Market Bean Loss Adjustment Standards Handbook (FCIC 25760)
Insurance providers must notify policyholders of these changes at least 30 days prior to the cancellation date as required by the contract change section of the policy.
