The 2021 CY harvest prices shown below are approved for the following plans of insurance: Revenue Protection and Revenue Protection with Harvest Price Exclusion. The harvest prices are applicable for the crop, sales closing date, states and practices indicated in the following table.

In accordance with Section 15 of the ARPI Crop Provisions, Section 14 of the MP Crop Provisions, and Section 10 of the SCO Endorsement, approved final county yields, final county revenues, harvest revenues, harvest margins and payment factors for the 2020 crop year will be available by close of business today in the following formats:

OA-21-001: Wildfire Hurricane Indemnity Program and Wildfire Hurricane Indemnity Program+ Linkage Requirements

Background

The Risk Management Agency (RMA) has received several questions about the Wildfire Hurricane Indemnity Program (WHIP) and Wildfire Hurricane Indemnity Program+ (WHIP+) administered by USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA). Specifically, RMA has been asked if Hurricane Insurance Protection-Wind Index (HIP-WI), Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO), Enhanced Coverage Option (ECO), Stacked Income Protection Plan (STAX), and Margin Protection Plan (MP) can be used to meet linkage requirements under WHIP and WHIP+.
