PM-21-029

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors approved changes to the Triticale crop insurance program, under section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act, on May 21, 2021.

The following changes are applicable for the 2022 and succeeding crop years:

  • Expand the program to an additional 128 counties in 21 states; and
  • Revise the maximum contract price factor from 1.4 to 2.27 times the established price for the crop year.

PM-17-035

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors approved the Triticale insurance program, a privately developed product that was submitted and approved under section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act. Triticale insurance provides coverage for damage resulting from naturally occurring events. Beginning with the 2018 crop year, the Triticale insurance program will be available in select counties in California, Idaho, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.
