Background

On August 27, 2015, the Risk Management Agency (RMA) released Informational Memorandum PM-15-043 containing program materials for the 2016 WFRP Pilot plan of insurance with the exception of the 2016 WFRP Pilot Handbook. The 2016 WFRP Pilot Handbook has now been completed.

Action

By close of business today, the 2016 WFRP Pilot Handbook will be available on the RMA Web site (www.rma.usda.gov)

As of August 31, 2015 the following information is now available on the FTP site:

• 2016 Actuarial Actuarial Data Master for the 8/31 Filing Date, YTD, and Daily Files.

Background

The Agricultural Act of 2014 (Farm Bill) instructed the Risk Management Agency (RMA) to develop a whole-farm diversified risk management plan of insurance. The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board of Directors (Board) approved the WFRP pilot plan of insurance effective for the 2015 insurance year (see MGR-14-021), which also included expansion to all counties in all states upon completion of actuarial and underwriting activities.
